Presented by Paint Creek Center for the Arts, the Art & Apples Festival is Michigan's second largest juried fine art festival with an average attendance of over 125,000 festival-goers and 250+ artists from across the country. The festival showcases artists from across the country, local and national entertainment acts, a free Kids Art Zone, Activity Zone, 3 food courts and more.
 
The Art & Apples Festival ranks the #20 art festival in the nation as determined by Sunshine Artist Magazine.
 
Make sure to plan on visiting the 30-acre Rochester Park this year on September 10-12 where fine art, performances, and homemade apple pies can be enjoyed by all.

Rochester Community House Sunday Painters Exhibit

The Sunday Painters are looking for non-professional, community painters to help fill the Rochester Community House with beautiful artwork during the weekend of the Art & Apples Festival.

The application fee is $10 per entry (max 2) and are available for download here: Sunday Painters Application

Apple Pie & Dessert Contest

 
It's apple pie and dessert time and we're out to find the region's best, most creative, most inspired apple pie and dessert makers. Whether crisp, crumble, buckle, pie, cookie, sauce, cake or your own unique creation, we're looking for you! Interested bakers may complete the application found below to be part of the 4th Annual Art & Apples Festival Pie & Dessert Contest.
 
Application fee is $5 and is non-refundable. The application has been extended to September 3.

EMERGENCY & FIRST AID
In the event of an emergency, the Rochester Fire Department is on-site throughout the weekend and has a mobile unit located at Entrance 4 near the North Check-In.
 
The Rochester Police Department partners with the Festival to assist in making the weekend safe and successful.
 
LOST & FOUND
Lost and found is located at the Rochester Police Department located just south of Entrance 1.
 
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the case of a weather emergency, please refer to the event map for the nearest shelter location.
 
SUPPORT THE ARTS
A suggested $5 donation (tax-deductible) at the entrances to the festival provides funding for Paint Creek Center for the Arts, Rochester Area Jaycees and Rochester Youth Soccer League. We thank you for your patronage.
 
PETS
No dogs or pets are allowed in Rochester Park during special events per city ordinance. We thank you for your cooperation.
 
FOOD TICKETS
With three food courts, there is no shortage of delicious food at the festival. To purchase food, please visit one of the 3 food ticket tents. These tents are distinguishable by their yellow and white stripes and are conveniently located adjacent to each food court. Accepted forms of payment are: Cash, Check, Credit (VISA, MasterCard or Discover).
 
INFORMATION BOOTHS
Need help finding a specific artist? Unsure of where the Kids Art Zone is? Stop by one of the two Information Booths in the park and you will find the answers to all festival-related questions. Look for the "?" on the map!
